Class 2 DELIVERY DRIVERS
We are currently recruiting a number of class 2 delivery drivers to work at our new purpose built distribution centre at Punch Bowl Lane Hemel Hempstead HP2 7HT.
The roles involves the delivery of carpets or flooring products to London and the Home Counties, to our retail customers.
The Hours of work are generallyfrom 5am to 7amstart with shiftsof 11 – 12hrsdaily. Generally workingMonday to Fridaywith occasional weekend working day during busy peak periods, we require our drivers to be flexible and compliant in relation to both weekend working, when required and daily hours.
Individuals wishing to apply must have the following qualifications and attributes,
· A Valid LGV class 2 Driving licence
· Ideally at least 1 years validatable ( By Reference) experience of delivery work and driving Class 2 vehicles
· Well Mannered, Presentable and helpful, with good customer facing Skills
· Be Reliable with excellent punctuality and attendance and a positive attitude.
We offer excellent rates of pay, as detailed below
Basic £11.75
Overtime £13.50
Sat / Sun £15.30

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
