Our client in Stanton Harcourt is seeking an enthusiastic HGV Class 2 driver to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Class 2 driver with an immediate start available for the right candidate

As the company’s HGV Class 2 driver you are the face of our client’s operation so providing an excellent service experience for their customer base is paramount. You will be responsible for carry out 3/4 deliveries with 1 or 2 collections a day with the loads being fork lifted off. Providing an efficient and prompt service. You will be responsible for keeping your vehicle clean and tidy and carrying out regular vehicles checks.

Pay and Hours

Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 0600 hours to 1600 hours, however some flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role, you may finish earlier each day and would still be paid 40 hours per week. Salary when full time circa £25k, plus overtime. Whilst working for Driver Hire the salary would be £13.00 per hour paid via our Umbrella Company, weekly via bacs payment

Requirements

Full C driving licence with digi and DQ card

No more than 6 points on your licence for minor offences

Understanding of drivers hours and regulations

Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area

Punctual, presentable, good communication and customer service skills

Due to the nature of the role, previous experience delivery would be an advantage but not necessary
