7.5 Tonne Driver

We’re seeking 7.5 tonne drivers to fill multiple full-time vacancies for our customer based in Greater Manchester.

Commutable from Manchester, Trafford, Altrincham and surrounding areas, this company is looking for full time HGV delivery drivers to join their busy team due to continued growth and although long-term temporary initially, this could lead to a permanent role as their business is booming.

You will:
Carry out multi drop deliveries of household goods around Greater Manchester

Demonstrate a professional attitude

Interact directly with residential and business clients as this is a face to face service role. Therefore recent experience in a customer service environment is preferable

Carry out some heavy lifting due to the nature of the position

Hours and pay rates:
Day shift – multiple drops carried out throughout the day, potentially into early evening until all deliveries are complete

You must be able to work 5 days out of 8 on a rota (which includes some weekends)

£10.20 per hour

£13.44 over time rate paid after 40 hours

Pay rates quoted are for PAYE Advanced, higher rates of pay for LTD Company Drivers/PSC are available.

To be considered, you will have a full 7.5T Driver (C1) licence with digital tacho and full CPC, along with:
Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences

Understanding of driver hours and regulations

Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area

Punctual, presentable, good communication and customer service skills
