Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver (LTD) – Days
Location: Northampton (NN3)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: Friday 1st August
Salary: £19.00 per hour (LTD) + Weekend Overtime Available

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced LTD Class 1 HGV Drivers for a full-time, ongoing General Haulage contract based in Northampton (NN3). This is a Monday to Friday role with day shift start times between 05:00 – 07:00 AM, offering consistent work and competitive pay.

You’ll be working with curtainsider trailers carrying out collection and delivery tasks with minimal to zero handball involved. The role is ideal for professional drivers looking for regular weekday work within a well-structured and supportive operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
General haulage deliveries and collections
Operating curtainsider trailers
Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported
Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining compliance
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience
Maximum of 3 penalty points (minor offences only)
Valid CPC and Tacho Card
LTD company driver status only (this role is not open to PAYE or umbrella drivers)
