HGV Driver
Location: Brigg
Job description:

Are you a client orientated driver who likes to meet with customers on job location? Do you enjoy guaranteeing satisfying delivery of our specialized products and give technical services and support? Then this is the job for you!

Your focus:
Operate a heavy truck / crane truck for delivery and set up of various types of United Rentals equipment for customers
Deliver, set-up and de-install equipment (e.g. tanks, manifolds, hoses, berms, pumps, filtration and generators) at customers’ sites
Maintenance, repair and optimizing of tanks and other rental equipment
Equipment inspections (pre & post-delivery)
Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
Monitor safety and regulatory compliance
Assist with yard inventory
Keep up tools and keep yard clean and safe
Maintaining logs and other regulatory record keeping requirements

Your profile:
Full Driving License CE and experience on a large truck (over 8000 kg)
Crane Tuck/Hi-Ab License desirable (not essential)
Completing complex tasks in creative and effective ways
Team player and independent worker with high flexibility
Mechanical aptitude and at least 4 years mechanical experience
Ability to be on-call 24 hours per day (on a rota)
Ability to make occasional overnight trips when required
Communicating effectively and accurately in speaking, reading and writing
