LOGISTICS MANAGER

• Provide leadership and management of the Logistics functions including Warehousing, Stock Inventory, and Off-site storage of products and materials across three sites.
• Handling the legal compliance of the sites transportation and HGV drivers, as stipulated by VOSA; Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and O license holder.
• Accountable of circa 60+ personnel’s activities, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Develop and Achieve a financial budget of 5.2 million per annum, meeting operational KPI targets and providing support to the rest of the Operation team.
• Manage and tender for all Logistics contracts including 3PL distribution, MHE, Freight and Off-Site storage providers.
• Increased Warehouse Capacity with a new Warehouse layout, creating 1,800 additional pallet spaces and saving 158k p.a.

TRANSPORT MANAGER

• Lead a Transport function across two Distribution Center’s to achieve financial and operational KPI targets. Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and O license holder.
• Responsible for the operation of circa 90 Drivers and 70 HGV’s delivering to customers in a 100km radius, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Accountable for 2 routing planners and the scheduling of work, ensuring a strategy is in place to address seasonal fluctuations in business volumes.
• Achieving financial and operational KPI targets, whilst providing support to the rest of the Distribution Centre management team.
• Nominated deputy for the DCM, taking full responsibility for the Distribution Centre in their absence.

• Responsible for the efficient and effective day to day running of the stock control and buying function, upholding strong links through regular contact with representatives of major suppliers to maintain one of the best branch service levels.

• Responsible for the accurate physical counting and recording of stock over a 30-day count cycle, organising in conjunction with the Company Auditors an annual stock-take.

WAREHOUSE SHIFT MANAGER
