HGV C (Class 2 Driver) Required

C Class 2 Drivers required ASAP up-to 18 per hour PAYE only

HGV C Required urgently for 15 drop deliveries in Cardiff.

Pure staff are looking for experienced C drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Cardiff area.

Pure staff are one of the fastest growing agents locally with an experienced team of consultants to advise & provide a constant workflow.

Our client operates the is a (well-known) Branded pallet network.

They currently require ongoing C to work with their current team. This job is longer term with some candidates being offered ongoing contracts.

The job itself will consist normally up to 15 drops per shift

Distribution is completed in an Class 2 lorry, with curtain sided body with Tail lift

Our Clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive Class 2 lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / trailer swaps are completed.

There is a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients personnel have the best experience interaction with you as possible.

Start times can vary but normally between 05:00am and 10:00am, shifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law up to 13 hr per shift on average but will keep within the law

The optional weekend work is normally Day shifts as and when you could do them, in general these shifts are slightly shorter route paid at £18 per hour PAYE.

You will require.

HGV Class 2 C Driving licence
6 months C+E experience is preferred
CPC Card
Digital card
Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD) codes
Pay;

Nights

£16.00 Monday to Friday PAYE

£18.00 Saturday per hour PAYE

£18.00 Bank holidays and Sunday per hour PAYE

The quoted rate doesn’t include Holiday pay, Holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday.
