HGV Class 1 Driver

Pertemps are based on an established Logistics contract in Thatcham, Berks and are looking for HGV CLASS 1 Drivers.

We are offering a wide range of shifts on a flexible on-going basis with AM, PM and TRUNK runs available. Although the contract is temporary there is regular ongoing work.

Full paid induction and training will be provided.

£15.33 – £20.56 per hour

As a HGV CLASS 1 Driver your duties will include: –

Carrying out HGV CLASS 1 store deliveries and trunking work
Ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to delivery points and collections from suppliers
Driving safely and with courtesy when out on the road
Trunking products to depots throughout the UK
Responsible for vehicle checks before leaving the depot.

An ideal candidate for HGV CLASS 1 Driver will have the following skills and experiences:-

Valid HGV CLASS 1 licence;
No more than 6 points / DD or DR for insurance purposes
-Previous experience of driving Class 1 vehicles – due to insurance purposes
Digi card tacho experience
Weekend availability
