Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver

Role: Class 1 HGV (C+E) Driver – Day/Night Trunking & Tramping
Location: Plymouth

We currently have a number of excellent opportunities for Class 1 (Cat C+E) truck drivers for work based within the Plymouth area but covering Cornwall, Devon & beyond. There are a number of clients who are looking for lorry drivers for an immediate start. If this is you, keep reading for more information!

About the job.

Pay is between £11.00 to £15.00 per hour with weekend work, overtime & night’s out (paid at £26.20 per night).
PAYE.
Weekly pay.
Discounted CPC.
Varied work: multi-drop, tramping, day & night trunk work.
Part time and full time positions available.
Job requirements.

A full and valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence with an in date CPC and digi cards are required with no more than 6 points & no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
Although previous experience is beneficial, training will also be provided for the right candidate. If you are new to this type of driving then we can provide you with the vital commercial experience required when looking for a full time job.
The ability to lift and carry fairly heavy items throughout the day, as well as driving, is a requirement due to the physical nature of the jobs. Having said that, most of your load would be forklifted on and off your vehicle.

BECOME AN OWNER-DRIVER AND WORK FOR YOURSELF! AVERAGE EARNINGS: £45,000 – £60,000 PER YEAR. AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE UK.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
