F&BM (Finance and Business Management) Global Clearing Product Control Projects – Product Controller – Associate – Based in London
 
This role is to work in the Global Clearing Product Control Projects team supporting the implementation of the Brexit Strategy initiative.
 
The F&O business is one of the most dynamic market leaders in the futures and options brokerage industry. The business has provided Sales, Execution and Clearing services across fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and commodity asset classes since 1979. Today, the business clears at over 70 exchanges with electronic trading access to over 50 of them.
 
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of a daily and month end P&L control role. This is essential as the successful candidate will be required to partner with many stakeholders, representing the Product Control function by providing guidance and analysis, helping to identify, resolve and escalate issues/risks/dependencies and facilitating communication streams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Brexit Strategy Implementation Program
Understand and help the Projects Lead manage all other Product Control related projects as central point of contact
Continually challenging the business’ Target Operating Model
Drive standardisation of process, application and data source.
Implement improvements to the system infrastructure & control environment
New Business proposals (NBIA)
Deliver support for new products and initiatives Skills Required
Associate with approx 3 years relevant experience within an Investment Bank.
Strong Futures & Options knowledge is advantageous.
A flexible proactive approach, ability to adapt to business change.
Strong derivatives knowledge.
Demonstrates very good Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Pro-activity in identifying control gaps, defining resolution and taking to closure.
Ability to communicate effectively across the organisation, both orally and in writing.
Team orientated and motivated self-starter with a positive “can do” attitude.
