Job title Tanker Driver/Drainage Service Engineer

Department Operations

Main Duties Cleaning of pump stations drains and gullies. Maintenance and Repair of drainage systems at Commercial properties.

Responsible to Operations Manager

Sharps Drain Logic is a family run drainage business dealing with emergency and contract drain clearance and maintenance. We are well established and have been trading for the last 35 years.

We are now looking for Tanker Driver/Drainage Service Engineers to supplement our team. You will have the opportunity to work both as part of a team and alone, so are expected to be punctual, self-motivated, honest, conscientious and hard working. Health and safety are something you must take seriously. You will be dealing directly with our customers so must be confident, of good appearance, and possess both verbal and good written communication skills in English, these are essential, as you are required to write a concise report for each job that you attend.

The work involves unblocking and maintenance of internal and external above and below ground drainage at commercial properties. We also undertake drainage repair work both excavations work and no-dig repair systems as well as carrying out CCTV surveys. Experience with Wincan would be advantageous. You would be involved in all aspects of these works, so will need to be physically fit as some lifting is involved.

Person Specification

A need for flexibility is vital. You will be asked to be on call on a rota basis. And consequently, be asked, to attend emergency works at the weekend and in the evenings.
