Main duties involved delivering steel in a safe and secure manner; making sure the lorry was strapped securely and covering the south coast of England. Also I had to perform a daily walk about of the vehicle, to ensure that it was defect free.

I covered a wide variety of responsibilities. Everyday was a different challenge in regards to driving long distances to many different labouring tasks. I also had to ensure that the vehicle was in within regulation for it weight limit.

I had to ensure that all orders were loaded correctly onto the lorry. I also used machinery for example to cut steel to ordered size. I also had adhere to weight limits when loading the lorries.
