Senior Building surveyor responsible for major work refurbishment schemes for a large portfolio of prestigious private estates and blocks in Central London. Dealing as direct liaison with elected board of directors to deliver major and cyclical projects together with the preparation of capital expenditure plans and forecast budgets for future anticipated works.

Responsible for the certification of practical and retrofit completion for circa 3500 residential dwellings. My role included ensuring that all aspects of statutory and contractual compliance are adhered to on site in addition to all workmanship and quality aspects. Together as part of a management team of four we managed a team of 26 staff. My role involved attending and representing the Independent Certifier team at all high level client and contractor meetings and ensuring all aspects of compliance and programme were maintained.

I have acted as both Senior Project Manager and Design Assessor on numerous private high end residential refurbishment schemes ranging up to a value of 1.4M. Dealing as direct liaison with each client and project team in ensuring a high standard project completion. I have acted as head contract administrator on a range of commercial developments including a prestigious new venture on behalf of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
I have within this period acted for numerous clients including the National Health Service, Greene King PLC and Westmont Hotel Group on a range of forensic based inspection projects and where resolution of latent defects has proved unsuccessful.

Acting as head Client Representative and Design Consultant on number of internal/external refurbishment projects up to the value of £12M on behalf of Homes for Islington. As lead projects surveyor and client representative, I provided all aspects of project delivery including attending relevant client and residents meetings, organising and implementing inspections and providing technical solutions as required. I also managed the scheme while on-site. This included liaising with and updating all parties as necessary, and providing advice on all relevant matters originating from the project, as well as resolving any performance issues which arose.
