• Responsible for managing a team of ten people, increasing their productivity and ensuring their proper execution of procedures.
• Operated a new computer programme designed to help manage military vehicles. Updated all processes and systems to synchronise with the software.
• Regularly audited each vehicles’ documents and ensured the vehicles were fully serviceable.
Accounted for mileage, fuel and use as per the company’s legislation.
• Controlled the use of each vehicle ensuring they were used in accordance with local laws and company policies.
Improved an underperforming fleet by recreating the vehicle booking system and ensuring vehicles were properly maintained. Audited all vehicle documents history and corrected all previous mistakes. Updated all processes and achieved a pass of the highest merit, in the biggest inspection the company holds, the annual equipment care inspection. This was the first pass for the Unit in several years.
White Fleet Manager and Co-ordinator 2008 – 2012
• Controlled the booking, maintenance and use of a fleet of ten civilian vehicles including a VIP car, ensuring they were where they needed to be on time and in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Created new processes and refreshed old ones so the fleet would be more efficient.
• Responsible for the hiring and coordination of two vehicles which were used for a visit from HRH Prince Phillip.
• Controlled 95 fuel cards and ensured they were being used as laid out in the company policy.
Created a strong working relationship with local camps to create a friendly working atmosphere between different Units. Quickly found contacts in each area by networking and built a strong relationship by helping and advising when needed. This enabled the unit to use local assets and resources freely. This proved to be extremely beneficial especially while the Unit was away on operations.

Servicing Facility Supervisor
HM FORCES THE ROYAL LOGISTIC CORPS

Controlled and managed the booking of over 100 Heavy Goods Vehicles, Land Rovers and armoured vehicles
• Supervised a small team of 4 who were expected to service vehicles to the highest standards.
• Monitored the stock level of oils, lubricants and parts. Placed orders and replenished as necessary.
• Responsible for the use and serviceability of proper protective equipment and conforming to COSHH regulations.
Worked alongside German mechanics who spoke very little English. Quickly built a friendly atmosphere and communicated were necessary with pictures. Was able to learn German to a good standard in a short period of time.

Dangerous Goods Driver
HM FORCES THE ROYAL LOGISTIC CORPS
2001 bis 2005
Responsible for the carriage of dangerous goods including explosives, all over the world and across various terrains sometimes in extreme climates.
• Responsible for the routine maintenance of vehicles including Heavy Goods vehicles, Land Rovers and armoured vehicles.
• Drove single manned vehicles for long periods of time, sometimes up to 16 hours.
• Responsible for the loading, lashing and security of loads valued in excess of a million pound.
Moved approximately 6000 tonnes of ammunition 560 miles across desert terrain in extreme temperatures. A journey that took over 16 hours one way and involved multinational forces.
Overcame several mechanical problems, ranging from oil leaks to brake failure, and was able to deliver the biggest ammunition move since the Second World War.
