March –present
Transport supervisor at Turner Price. Currently, my responsibilities at Turner Price include:
• Debrief 40+ drivers when they return to the depot for any damage or defect updates, and to brief them for following duties
• Ensure any returned goods are correctly returned to stock
• Any damage to vehicles is inspected and correctly referred to repair centres.
• Driving vehicles when required

Nov – Dec 2016
Working at SVW car restoration as a store assistant. My time at this company included duties such as:
• Reorganising vehicle parts within the stores
• Sandblasting old parts, and entering parts into the stock system allocated for vehicles

July – Sept 2016
Agency work delivering for Marstons Brewery. Duties for this role included:
• Driving and assisting the driver in delivering kegs, drinks and various food and snacks to customers within Yorkshire

Jan-2013 – May 2016
HGV fitter/driver at Stoneledge. During my time at Stoneledge I drove an eight-wheel tipper delivering aggregates over East Yorkshire. As a fitter, I worked in the workshop servicing, repairing and prepping vehicles for M.O.T.

Sept 2011 – August 2012
PSV fitter at East Yorkshire Motor Services. Responsibilites for this job included:
• Assisting in repairing, servicing and maintaining a fleet of approximately 300 buses.

March 2011
Tipper driver for Alan Smith Haulage. For this company, I drove an eight-wheel tipper truck delivering various aggregates to customers over East Yorkshire.

April 2007
H.G.V fitter at D.J Broady/Robin Concrete and Waste Disposal. As a H.G.V fitter, my duties included:
• Inspected vehicles for faults and road worthiness
• Ensuring M.O.T’s were up to date, as well as repairing vehicles if necessary
• Keeping vehicle downtime to a minimum
• Driving vehicles when drivers were unavailable; vehicles included tippers, skip trucks and hooklift vehicles
• Ordered parts when required

• Overseeing the operation of 22 vehicles and drivers
• Check tachnographs, ensuring all drivers worked within the law

During my time at the company I renewed the company’s operating license. Unfortunately the company was in the process of change/ restructure and due to administration and cost they reluctantly had to end my employment with them.

2000 – 2001.

I had vast experience in aggregate sales in a very competitive market. I set up the ISO 9000 System enabling the company to be competitive for major contracts ensuring that safety was paramount and procedures and policies were adhered to at all times.

1996 – 2000.

I continued to work partly as garage manager in a purchasing role. In addition to my previous responsibilities, I also had to:
• Check tachnographs to ensure driver’s were complying to regulations
• Authorised invoices
• Maintaining a constant service of delivery to customers within their expectations
• Organised transport routes for the vehicles ensuring a quick and efficient service was being delivered to customers
• Greatly increase the income of the company by selling the service to other people and businesses. Through this, I increased the workload of the waste disposal, and increased the number of vehicles.

1992 – 1996

As well as continuing with the below, with my new role I purchased vehicles, parts and supplies from competitive market retailers and suppliers. I also negotiated options and prices and services available. In addition, I also interviewed people for driver or fitting vacancies.

• Overseeing the workshop and staff
• Ensuring all vehicles were correctly maintained
• Ensuring all appropriate documentation for vehicles was completed correctly and readily available for VOSA when they visited
