I have five years of experience in IT network management and systems administration in the UK and four years of experience in printing in Poland where I also provided IT support for internal users. Computer networks, managing servers and computers based on Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 10 roll out and Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019 operating systems and security are my main areas of interest.
Am qualified in production engineering to university level. Have developed my skills during work experience at various printing houses. Knowledgeable in computer hardware and network devices. As confirmation of my professionalism, I am a member of British Computer Society and The Institution of Engineering and Technology. I was awarded Professional Registration of IT Technician (RITTech) status via BCS. Am professionally registered as ICT Technician (ICTTech) register in Engineering Council via IET.
I can also work as class 1 driver. I hold a valid full driving licence, Driver Qualification Card, driver card and ADR certificate. I do not have as much experience as in IT however I can learn quickly as I did it when I arrived to the UK or when I passed my driving tests and ADR exams.

I believe I make a big difference to our school IT provision since I was in service.
§ Secured and made our wireless network 40 times faster by upgrading our wireless network from 10 years old access points with open access for everyone to modern wireless provision with controller and RADIUS server.
§ Secured and made our wire network 10 faster by replacing 10/100Mbits switches with modern 1Gbit HPE switches, HP 5510 as core switch and HP 1920 as switches on the edges.
§ Enhanced children’s learning and made teachers using technology better by upgrading their interactive whiteboards to modern touch panels in most class rooms.
§ Created better experience for school assemblies and PE lessons by installing AV solution in our new hall with a 10% savings from the initial approved budget.
§ Made our new building useful by installing network equipment.
§ Offered better communication over the phone by replacing analogue system with digital one.
§ Reduced paper consumption by installing Paper Cut software on our MFD devices.
§ Promote better use of IT resources by providing IT support, friendly IT advice and assisting, explaining, teaching and learning about all IT matters.

When I arrived to the UK, I had several temporary jobs through an agency. My last and the longest job was picking and packing medicines in a medical warehouse. I picked and packed the medicines to a good standard, as required.

Prepared thermal plates for printing houses with attention to high quality and due diligence. Delivered services tailored to customers’ needs on time in full without compromising confidentiality.
§ Applied Plan Do Check Act circle to improve quality of the processes. developed changes to devices such as adding plastic bits, rails etc. to avoid plate damages and proved annual savings up to 25 000 PLN. This led me to gain my Green Belt certificate.
§ Improved process of imaging and delivering plates to customers.
§ Moved our branch to new location including adapting new place to our need, installing machines and IT devices.
§ Implemented specific colour settings for customer requirements. I updated his colour calibration curve, imaging parameters, Colour Management System settings, to ensure this is as close to linear as possible and comply with ISO 12647 norm.

Activities
I enjoy cooking and baking and practise regularly in the home both for personal consumption and entertaining friends. I like travelling through the countryside. I love driving, especially vehicles bigger than cars. You may see me occasionally driving class 1 lorries.
I work closely with Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain. I help them promote their events on social media and I was a member of committee organising Science Day 2019 Polish Contribution (Humanities, Science, Technology – 10th March 2019, London)
