Are you a Cat C driver, tired of making drop after drop after drop? Would you like to build your driving career with a respected logistics company, working with our partners Omega Kitchens delivering high-quality goods to customers locations. All of this ticking your boxes? Then we would like to talk to you! XPO is currently looking for drivers for our customer site in Thorne, Doncaster, where you will be delivering kitchens to construction sites and private customers. You will be working across the whole of the UK and should expect to have typically 2 to 3 nights out per week.

Are you newly qualified? Not a problem, we are happy to assess and interview newly qualified drivers and to give you an opportunity to start your career with guidance and support.

You will be paid £13 ph. Working Monday-Friday days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks including great training via the XPO University and ongoing CPC training.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Delivering kitchens across the UK
Potential to have nights out during your working week
Lift and carry kitchen goods to sites and customers so you must be able to lift heavy loads safely
Use scanners to confirm deliveries to customer sites
You will work as a double manned crew or single manned depending on the route
You will average 5 deliveries per day, delivering to different parts of the country on a week by week basis

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Full LGV C (Class 2)
Digi card and up to date CPC
No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD, DR, or IN Endorsements

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
