Are you looking for a driving role with lots of autonomy within a friendly company and competitive rates? Great! We are currently recruiting on behalf of Stanton Logistics to work out of the iport in Doncaster doing supermarket store deliveries.

Key Tasks

· Daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects

· Making on time deliveries to stores

· Tipping using machinery (electric pallet trucks & tail lifts)

· Reloading packaging waste back to the distribution centre

· Ensuring that your vehicle is clean and fit for the next delivery

· Attending site inductions and training

· Ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of everything you do resulting in safe driving and minimal/zero damage to vehicles

· Compliance to company policies and procedures

· Communicating progress, delays, and key information

What’s on Offer?

· £170 per shift

FULL TIME PERMENANT POSITION

· Shifts available: 17:00 starts on a 4 on 4 off rota

· Reliable weekly pay (Fridays) via our in-house payroll team

The Essentials

Here’s what we need from you in order to join the team:

· A minimum of 12 months’ experience driving HGVs (due to the complexity of some of the store deliveries)

· A valid C+E UK driving licence

· A valid UK Driver CPC

· A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card

· You must have held a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence for over 12 months, have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes

· Demonstrable recent driving experience (happy to discuss at interview)

· A strong knowledge and awareness of driver hours regulations
