Pertemps are looking to recruit Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers working for one of our most prestigious clients who are global market leaders in the logistics industry. Our client is based in Doncaster and supplies a home delivery operation to one of Britain’s largest retailers transporting products all across the country and are the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses.

Duties include:

Home delivery of furniture to retail customers
Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers.
Supervising or helping to load and unload goods.
Making sure loads are safely secured.
Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
Completing delivery paperwork and log books.
The candidates must possess a valid LGV C licence with no more than 6 points and free from major endorsements for insurance purposes, MUST have a valid dig card & CPC card. Newly passed drivers accepted – Terms and conditions apply

Job Details:Daily start times are from 0500hrs – 0800hrs.
Accompanied by a Drivers Mate,
Multi Drop Deliveries
Handball required
Customer Faced
Smart Appearance
Hourly Rate
In return drivers will receive the below pay rates:Monday to Friday- Rates of Pay £12.50ph (Guaranteed 10hrs pay)
Saturday- Rates of Pay £13.50ph (Guaranteed 10hrs pay)
Sunday- Rates of Pay £13.50ph (Guaranteed 10hrs pay)

Break deductions of 45 mins after 10hrs worked.

You will accrue holiday pay & sickness pay along with been enrolled in to a government pension scheme (You can opt out should you choose)
