Job description
Paul Arthurton Transport is looking for a full time Senior Transport Manager to work directly with the owner to ensure the most profitable and cost effective scheduling of their modern fleet of vehicles based in central Norfolk.
The hours of work would be Monday – Friday with the occasional Saturday if required.
A background of working in a similar environment is essential, together with an excellent geographical knowledge to route their vehicles efficiently. Clear communication is key in this role as you will be expected to directly liaise with the owner, drivers and customers on a daily basis.
They would be looking for a candidate with a ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work efficiently on their own and as part of our team of traffic planners.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience to include company car.
HGV licence is preferred but not essential. CPC qualification would be advantageous.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
