On our mission to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Leisure, Retail and construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, transporting materials to our Material recycling facilities where we produce a valuable product such as cardboard, Paper, Washed sands, Biomass for energy and animal bedding.

We are now recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Volumetric Concrete Driver to join our team based in Glasgow. This is a full-time position, averaging approx. 55 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with potential overtime every second Saturday. Due to the nature of this position, only applicants with previous HGV Class 2 Volumetric Concrete Driver experience can be considered.

The ideal HGV Class 2 Volumetric Concrete Driver will have:
Held their Class 2 Licence for at least two years
Valid CPC entitlement
Digital Tachograph card
Good knowledge of road networks in Edinburgh and the Lothians
Less than 6 points or less on their licence (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes)
An excellent command of the English language
Good Customer Service Skills

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
