We are looking for self-employed professionals to undertake building surveys for property, insurance, construction, and other clients on a sub-contract basis.
Tasks
Provide measuring data services to business of varying sizes. Preparing comprehensive reports, specifications and quotations. Consult on building law matters and assess the qualities and current condition of the property. Provide technical due diligence services for real estate portfolio transactions and commercial assets. Technical consultancy for the negotiation of the sale and purchase contract. Advise on recommendations on the works and services owed by the counter party to be agreed in the sale and purchase contract. Inspecting damaged areas of a building arising from an insurance claim. Determining the cause of damage. Preparing a repair specification. Assessing cover available under the buildings insurance policy.
Qualifications
RICS or CIOB membership, architect, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years trade experience.
