CLASS 2 HGV ADR FUEL TANKER DRIVER

Gi Group are recruiting for a CLASS 2 HGV ADR FUEL TANKER DRIVER to join a truly independent family run fuel and lubricants supplier at their Watford depot on a permanent basis;

Benefits:

£36,860 per annum
40 hours, Monday-Friday
30 days paid holiday (this rises with service)
All licence renewals and medicals paid for by the company
All relevant training paid for by the company, including ADR refresher courses and annual DCPC training

There is plenty of scope for overtime, including Saturday mornings, particularly in the busier winter months which is paid at £23.80 p/h. Please note availability to work alternate Saturday mornings during the winter months is essential. This is paid at the overtime rate of £23.80 p/h – This job comes with an excellent earnings potential!
Duties:

Loading of vehicles at the depots or terminals whilst following all H&S guidelines and operational procedures
The safe delivery of fuel to a range of domestic, commercial and agricultural customers
Ensuring all vehicle daily safety checks are completed to the highest standard
Ensuring all paperwork relating to the loading and unloading is filled in correctly
Ability to work to all written procedures and guidelines including WTD and EU Drivers Hours Regulations
The Successful candidate:

Class 2 / Cat C HGV Licence
ADR in Class 3 (Flammable liquids) and Tanks
Petroleum Driver Passport (preferable but not essential)
Valid DCPC Card
Valid Digital Tacho Card
Good knowledge of our delivery area (London, Herts, Bucks, Berks)
Multi drop experience
Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners.
