Cat C / Class 2 LGV Tanker Driver who has tanker driving experience transporting wastewater is required for a well-established, leading company based in Braintree, Essex.

SALARY: £28,000 – £36,000 per annum + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Braintree, Essex

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 42.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility for being available to work at weekends and being part of a call out rota team

JOB OVERVIEW

Due to the current growth within the business, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Cat C / Class 2 LGV Tanker Driver who has tanker driving experience transporting wastewater.

As a Cat C / Class 2 LGV Tanker Driver you will drive local routes, working independently and safely collecting and delivering sewage, often working alone for planned and reactive tasks.

Working as the Cat C / Class 2 LGV Tanker Driver you will also be responsible for ensuring that the vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition both internally and externally and that the tankers are operated in a professional manner.

As a successful candidate you must be responsible and reliable, able to assess risks and ensure you wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). You will also need to be computer literate to send emails and log details onto the company’s fleet tablet system.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Cat C / Class 2 LGV Tanker Driver you will have the following skill and experience:

Must have previous LGV C experience

Previous Tanker driving / wastewater experience

Less than 6 points on licence and no accidents in the last 3 years

Full CPC card

CSCS card / Water Jetting Association qualification

Exceptional customer service skills

A proactive attitude

You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools

You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground

You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction
