Job Title: Class 1 Driver – Car Transporter Operator
Location: Preston

Shifts available:
4 on 4 off (roaming)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver to join our specialist Motorfreight division operating cross channel to Ireland and Northern Ireland, and domestically in Great Britain, which represents a varied and interesting profile of work.

Woodside Motorfreight has a reputation for market leading quality, compliance and efficiency. We are searching for high calibre, professional Class 1 drivers to join our team serving the motor industry, including manufacturers, dealer networks and auction houses, throughout the UK & Ireland.

The Person:

The successful candidates will have at least 1 years’ Class 1 car transporter driving experience.

Due to the physical nature of the duties of this role, the successful candidate should have a good level of physical fitness which will be tested at assessment.

Rates:
£14 per hour
Overtime £16 per hour
Weekend overtime £17.50 per hour
Overnight expenses £28 per night
Performance Related Bonus Scheme

Training:
Full training on all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
The successful candidates will have an appropriate Class 1 licence and CPC.

Essential Criteria:
HGV Class C&E (Class 1) license with 12 months Class 1 driving experience

12 months car transporter operator experience
CPC training completed
Flexibility for weekend overtime
