Full Job Description
Merlin Supply Chain Solutions are looking to expand our team of experienced LGV Instructor who specialise in LGV Licence Acquisition training, Pre-Employment training and the delivery of LGV Driving Apprenticeships based in our office in Kettering.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be experienced in instructing learner drivers to be successful in both Categories C (Class 2) and C+E (Class 1). To ensure that we get the right candidate we offer Continues Development for all our training team to ensure that they remain up to date with the latest training methods.

Shift: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Due to the locations of the sites, you must be willing to travel to suit the needs of the business

You will be someone who has:
A current and valid LGV C+E Licence

At least 3 years of experience driving on UK roads (Class C+E)

Driver, Training, Assessment and License Acquisition Related qualifications (RTITB, RHA, SAFED, NRI and/or equivalent) or willing to work towards a qualification

An understanding of the law relating to driver’s hours’ regulations and tachograph

The ability to work with minimum supervision

Excellent time management skills,

The associate will also be trained in the delivery/training of The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)

Be prepared to undergo DBS Check.

References will be required.
