HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights Out

Agenda Partnership currently has an exciting opportunity for several HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a wonderful company based in Colsterworth on a full time permanent basis

About the role:
In this role you will drive one of my client’s modern fleet trucks collecting and delivering grain as requested by their Fleet Planners. All drivers are required to work in a very professional, courteous and timely manner.
This role does include nights out so please only apply if you are happy to work up to 4 nights out a week.
When you are out on your deliveries it is always good practice to call ahead of schedule as the effective communication of arrival times with their farmer and British food and drink industry customers is key to their success. As part of these duties you will be required to build strong relationships to ensure that all of their collections and deliveries are undertaken correctly and punctually.

You will need to be a C&E licence holder and CPC trained along with the following attributes:
Courteous and polite
Communicative
Follow instructions well
Capable of using smart phone apps
Team player
You will need to be away all week (up to 4 nights out per week)
Happy with 6am(ish) start times
You will receive full training in bulk haulage operation. There is also a bonus scheme and night out allowance.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
