I have enjoyed my time with Symphony but unfortunately as I work from an out base I cannot drive anything more than a van with them. Operations Admin Assistant
Equita Limited – Northampton – February 2017 to November 2020
I work in the operations department at Equita limited my main roles and responsibilities are –
• Organising the workload for our enforcement agents (ea.’s).
• I had previously led a road traffic team that dealt with enforcement agents who are out on-site recovering road traffic debts for local councils.
• Dealing with the vehicles that are removed when debts can’t be paid, this involves liaising with the police, clients and auction houses to get the proper permission to sell these vehicles, following up then ensuring that payments are properly received, and the ongoing process are completed effectively.
• My day also includes dealing with incoming calls from debtors and enforcement agents to keep all cases up to date and to help them with all their needs ensuring that the companies customer service core values are always maintained.
• Working cohesively with directors in managing non domestic cases this was a more independent role where I managed my own case and ensure that I have managed the diaries of the eas to ensure that a positive outcome for the company is achieved.
• I have been needed to look after our fleet of vans, this role includes driving to various places as and when the business requires and doing audit checks and vehicle checks. Also booking in the vans for repairs and services.
This role has given me the drive and focus to move forward with my career and made me want to achieve more in life. I have also learnt much from the role that will be very useful going forward as I am now used to working in a high paced, busy environment and my colleagues looking to me for help and support. I will be taking my skills with working within a team further and testing myself in a new and challenging role.
Kitchen Assistant/Waiter/Bar Man
The Boat Inn – Stoke Bruerne – January 2011 to August 2017
When I started at The Boat Inn I found myself in a kitchen and restaurant with new colleagues. But I soon became a valid member of a great team. I work with different staff which has taught me varied communication skills which has helped me work quickly and efficiently at all times. I then moved onto the Bar which was a lot of fun and taught me how to deal with different types of people and communicate in the correct way with them.
Administrator / Customer Service / Surveyor / Sales
Piping Hot Cookers – Daventry – October 2013 to March 2016
I initially joined PHC as an apprentice after leaving school. As time went by with PHC, my job roles have varied from being an admin and dealing with various tasks such as writing proforma’s making specific flue kit orders and making telephone calls and emails. From this, I then went on to doing quotes and meeting clients out on site. I made many sales/installs most of these more than £8000.00. On the side of this, I was still doing my previous tasks, as in a small company everyone must be able to do everything! I also had to learn many technical details and learn over 400 products with minimal training. I have learnt many valuable skills from working in a very small company and have a vast knowledge of how small companies are operated. I have also worked on their new website doing graphics and general tasks such as listings etc and all of their social media. I was made redundant in March of 2016 (redundancy notice available on request) this was due to a cut in government funding(RHI).
Health and Safety Advisor
Instalcom – London – July 2010 to July 2010
2010 July
This work experience was really enjoyable discovering aspects of health and safety management. I completed many Health and safety inspections on different sites all around London, (these were very interesting as you start to pick up dangerous situations that are happening that perhaps you wouldn’t usually notice happening). I also completed some risk assessments which made me aware of risks involved in everyday situations, together with risk avoidance. All in all I really enjoyed my work experience it was very interesting and I learnt a lot of new information.
