Clarendon Haulage Co Ltd – Family business based at Mellor Brook, Blackburn.

A position has become available for a Class 1 HGV driver working Mon – Fri, away all week.

(Additional work/ days may be required to meet the needs of the business)

The position involves making deliveries and collections for various customers nationwide.

We offer:

– Competitive rates of pay. Average gross earnings in this role for tax year 18-19 was £37,000 on a 60 hour week.

– £25 (Tax Free) night out allowance. This role usually involve 4 nights out per week.

– £2.00 (tax free) per day meal allowance

– Modern fleet of vehicles

– Annual in house CPC Training

– Weekly pay

We require:

– Must hold full CAT C+E (Class1) licence – ideally for at least 2 years

– Must have a valid Digital Tachograph Card

– Must hold a valid Drivers Qualification Card (CPC Card)

– Must have a good level of English – speaking, reading and writing.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
