Job Description

Sure-Staffing UK Ltd are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 driver (Category C) for our client based in the Milton Keynes area. Your working day will typically begin between 04:00 and 06:00, you will be required to deliver a variety of products such as bathroom or kitchen furniture to residential areas across the UK. You will be allocated Drivers Mate based on personality match and your Drivers Mate will be responsible for helping you handball products to the resident’s addresses. There may be some days where you’ll be required to night out, however this is rare. It is a multi-drop position; your average day will consist of 6 deliveries and collections combined. In the initial 12-week period, you will be fully inducted, trained and should be working at least 50 hours per week. Once you go permanent with this company, you should finish your working day between 12:00 and 14:00 – perfect for anyone with children. You will be working Monday to Friday, no weekends and no bank holidays.

Candidate

You will hold category C License
You should have a minimum 2 years UK experience
You will not have any more than 6 points on your licence, strictly no DUIs or DDs
You must have good written and spoken English combined with excellence in customer care

Pay Rate:
You will be paid £10.50 per hour PAYE whilst completing the initial 12-week assignment. There will be a one-week trial whereby you’ll be provided full training and given a full induction into the business.
You will earn a basic salary of c.£23500 per annum once you take the permanent contract, this will be paid monthly in arrears.
You will be entitled to 28 days annual leave once you join the business as a permanent employee.
