Vacancy 1: We are looking to recruit a permanent HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver to work in our agricultural haulage operation.

During the autumn and winter months you are likely to spend most of your time on sugar beet work, collecting sugar beet in tippers from farms across Norfolk and Suffolk and delivering into factories at Cantley and Bury St Edmunds. Spring and summer comprises either milk or cereal haulage. Your start times are from between 5am and 7am with a day normally taking around 12 hours to complete.

Vacancy 2: We are looking to recruit a permanent HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver to work in our agricultural haulage operation.

The job will mainly involve collecting big bale straw from farms across Norfolk and Suffolk and delivering into stores and power stations in East Anglia. Start times will vary according to the day’s work, but will normally be between 5am and 7am. A day will normally last around 12 hours. The job will require weekend working and occasional nights out.

Our work here is varied and we like to be flexible so you may have the opportunity to work on other types of haulage within the business.

We work 365 days a year so you’ll need to be up for some weekend and bank holiday working. Full on the job training for all aspects of our work is provided with assessment based and Driver CPC training delivered on site by experienced external training providers. Most of our work takes us onto farms so a strong interest in farms and farming would help you get the most out of the job. We recognise your contribution on these occasions and at the end of a long day, so you’ll get good rates of overtime pay. The basic pay is pretty good for the hours and type of work we do too. Earnings potential are in the region of £35,000pa, depending on the hours and number of weekends you work.

We ask that you’re reliable, punctual and able to show your best to our farmers and customers. We’re in the food and farming business, so personal hygiene and presentation are important, but we trust that you’ll be as professional in this regard as you are in your driving and record keeping. CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
