Class 2 Drivers, we have a fantastic opportunity, to work for a leading home delivery client, based in Wigan

The client are looking for Class 2 Drivers, to work either a Monday to Friday shift, or a Tuesday to Saturday shift, delivering flat pack furniture to customers.

The start times are between 6am & 7am (although the client can be flexible on this) and you will be working around 10 / 11 hours per day.

PAYE Rates :
Mon – Fri – £13 p/h
Overtime (after 8 hours) paid at – £19.50
Saturday paid at – £19.50
Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday shifts on offer
Start Times between 6am & 7am (although the client can be flexible on this)
New Pass drivers are welcome
2 person home delivery
Immediate starts available

Day to Day Duties

Around 35 / 40 drops per day,
Delivery of flat pack furniture to customers throughout the North West
The successful Class 2 Drivers will need to have a good attitude, with the job involving dealing
with customers and heavy lifting.
All routes are covered using a mixture of Class 2 & 7.5t vehicles (all paid as a Class 2 Driver)

Essential Skills

Similar Experience in the role is desired but not essential as new pass drivers are welcome with training being offered
Manual Handling is required
Class 2 HGV Licence
Need to have a valid / in-date CPC / Digi card
The Class 2 Drivers will need to have a positive attitude to the job, offering the best service to every customer

Desirable Experience

Our client would prefer the Class 2 Drivers to have previous experience but this isn’t essential as training will be given
A previous history of working in a manual job would be an advantage
Previous experience in customer facing roles
A positive attitude towards dealing with customers

What training is provided?

The client will provide training before commencing work
On the job training also given, shadowing experienced staff
