Eclipse recruitment are looking for 3 x class 1 drivers for our customers satellite depot in Kings Lynn.
This is a 12 week temp to perm – you will do 12 weeks on agency and then go full time with the company after the 12 weeks.
Ideally you will have a counterbalance licence to help load the trailer in the morning – but this isnt essential because they will train you if you are successful.
You will start at 6am in the morning and download the paper work from a pc in the traffic office – you will then find your freight and load your trailer and leave by 8am. You will generally have one run where you will deliver and collect on the same run. But in busier periods and within your legal working hours you might be asked to do 2 runs in the same day. If this happens you will need to unload your pallets and load the night trailer before departing on the second run.
You maybe asked to work one Saturday in 4 – but you will have at least 2 weeks notice for this.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
