May 2017 to Present
In 2017 I become a partner in ASL UK Scaffolding LTD. I managed to turn this business around.
I drive the lorry everyday and help out in all aspects of scaffold.
I manage all the accounts and invoicing , paying the wages and pricing up jobs.
I attend a lot of networking events to gain new business. I am now in the process of selling the
business on, and am looking for a HGV category C driving job.

Responsibilities –
• Working within the construction industry my job is to secure new business with main contractors in all aspects of work we cover.
• Manage the site Forman’s and have them report progress reports for target meetings

Settlements Department
• Inputting up to 100 brokerage tickets traded by our brokers on a day-to-day basis using the GL Rims and Xtrakter systems.
• Communicating with our brokers about positions they have in different products they are trading, making them aware of their daily P&L.
• As a team of five we confirmed and settled up to 600 trades daily over the world for the ICAP offices.
• We also settled for a fee smaller brokerage houses deals, This generated the company an extra income.
Accounts Receivable
• Collecting brokerage of 2 million dollars on a monthly basis from all trades executed in the USA.
• I achieved on a monthly basis a set target of 60% of the outstanding brokerage, keeping outstanding debtors down and incoming payments up to date on the Tradelink and Sage system.

• Making over 150 calls daily to potential clients to tell them about the products we were selling such as ie. Diamonds, carbon credits, Wine, Precious Metals, Land, FX.
• I built a client base diversifying their portfolios across high, medium and low risk products.
• Liaising/ shadowing my senior brokers to gain more knowledge of how they pitched their clients also to further knowledge about the new products we brought to the market.
• Inputting trades for the senior brokers, making sure they reconciled between systems.
• During my 2 years I have worked for a few different companies as they all traded different commodities.

Accounts Receivable
• Corresponding with banks to keep them updated with their debtor, chasing them for the outstanding brokerage they owed. Arranging a payment scheme with them keeping them to either a NET 30, 45 or 60.
• Collecting brokerage from 2 main street international banks RBS and BNP also smaller international banks.
• Achieving targets of 50% of the debt I had been set to collect, on a monthly basis this could range between 1 million to 3 million pound sterling.
Sterling Cash Deposits
• Updating the white board prices, with which banks would lend deposits at different rates.
• Brokers would call prices out to me during the day and it was my job to keep everyone updated, if there was a rate disagreement this could be settled by the updated board price.
• Inputting over 60 traded tickets within the oracle system on a daily basis, then reconciling them with the back office.
• Covering the link brokers, executing daily trades for clients to satisfy their needs.
