Duties:
In charge of the day to day operations of the transport company
Efficiently managing a team of 14 drivers and vehicles
Obtaining Silver Fors standard for the company
Responsible for all routing, tracking of delivery vehicles
Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures to do with driver hours and vehicle road worthiness,
Being the first point of call for all drivers
Responsible for all insurance claims, obtaining evidence from lorry cameras etc where necessary.
Arranging for the induction and training off all new staff
