As a parts delivery driver employed by British gas I was in charge of delivering parts to gas engineers across the west of Scotland. I would go to suppliers and await orders being processed, then deliver these orders to the engineers. I would also be responsable for keeping a small stock of remedial parts in my van.
I left British gas for better job prospects.

As a removal porter my duties included
– pack all furniture safely into boxes
– load all goods onto vehicle in a safe manner
– unload the vehicle at new premises
– pack containers with furniture to be dry stored in our warehouse.

As a delivery porter/driver i would carry out a vehicle daily check sheet to make sure my 3.5 ton Luton van had no defects. With my van all in order i would revese onto a bay to begin loading that days deliveries onto my vehicle then it was out on the road to make my deliveries. Once all deliveries where completed I would contact the yard to make sure the work in my area that day was done.
With Reids i drove all over Scotland, England and even Ireland whilst in a full signwritten company van.
I left reid furniture due to being made redundant.

As a gas apprentice i worked alongside component engineers to service, repair and install gas central heating all over Scotland. My duties were as followed but not limited to
– assist engineer when needed
– call office to arrange for parts needed
– hang radiators to walls
– keep van clean and tidy
I left city technical services in 2007 due to a family disagreement which meant I could no longer work there.
