Rapier Working in Partnership with Imperial Logistics
Class 1 Drivers – AM and PM Shifts available
Based in Hams Hall on Full time basis (Brand New Trucks)
AM and PM start times all trunking work
Monday to Friday
Guaranteed 8 hours per shift
Basic PAYE Day rate £15.38ph; Umbrella £19.50ph 06:00-18:00
PAYE Overtime rate after 50hrs/week £19.23ph; Umbrella £24
Basic PAYE Night rate £16.38ph; Umbrella £20.50ph 18:00-06:00
PAYE Overtime rate after 50hrs/week £20.47ph; Umbrella £25
Shut downs in August and Christmas which is ideal for family holidays
Weekly Pay
Holiday entitlement 28 days pro rata

Role information:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will ensure that goods are delivered to our automotive customers in first-class condition.
Guaranteed 8 hours per shift minimum
Start times to suit all HGV Drivers
PAYE and Umbrella Class 1 drivers welcomed
You will be required to:
Deliver a friendly, professional service to customers
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed
Supervise the loading of your vehicle to ensure that products are safely secured
Drive your vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
Make sure that your vehicle is presented to a high standard
Uphold the reputation for quality service of Imperial Logistics
To be considered for the Class 1 Driver role, you’ll need:
A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
A valid digital tachograph card
At least six months’ professional driving experience.
Basic English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Diligent attention to detail
