HGV Class 1 Driver

Bayside Recruitment is looking for 5x HGV I Drivers for our client based in Dagenham on a temporary ongoing basis. To work with this client you must have held your HGV licence for at least 6 months and have relevant experience within those 6 months.

The delivery routes can vary, as the client covers the Midlands, South East and South West. You will be allocated a run, on arrival to shift. Attention to detail is imperative as you will be giving the shops their requirements. You will need to record information on a PDA from the deliveries. The shifts can be 12 hours long and start times can vary between 00:00 – 04:30 and 15:00-18:00 So, let us know your preferred start time and leave the rest to us! 45 minutes for a break will be deducted from your pay and a minimum of 9 hours are paid. You will be required to load and unload trollies of food. You must be able to work 2 weekends a month as this is the busiest time for the client. The client is COVID-19 secure. Successful registration, assessment and satisfactory referencing are required before you commence work.

Pay rates PAYE PEAK June 2021 – 1st August 2021

Monday – Friday 02:00-17:59 – £16.00ph

Monday – Friday 18:00-01:59 – £17.50ph

Saturday – £18.00ph

Sunday – £19.00ph

Bank Holidays – £23.00ph

PAYE peak with Holiday fund paid weekly (It does mean you forgo the right to paid annual leave when annual leave is taken)

Monday – Friday 02:00-17:59 – £16.00 +£1.93=£17.93ph

Monday – Friday 18:00-01:59 – £17.50 +£2.11=£19.61ph

Saturday – £18.00+£2.17=£20.17ph

Sunday – £19.00+£2.29=£21.29ph

Bank Holidays – £23.00+£2.78=£25.78ph

Monday – Friday – £13.00

Saturday – £14.48

Sunday – £15.47

Bank Holidays – £16.94

Saturday – £14.48 + £1.75 = £16.23
