• Responsible for the procurement and disposal of various types of vehicles, military and civilian.
• Manage, update and report on various data management systems.
• Undertake mandatory management reviews of company and Motor Transport sub departments (6), to ensure compliance with Transport Legislation, Company Policies and Logistical Equipment Assurance guidelines, gaining excellent reports and best practices.
• Liaise with third party agencies ensuring timely and seamless transitions during service delivery management of various goods, optimising productivity to minimise wasted working hours.
• Carry out periodic warehouse stock control checks while ensuring workspace cleanliness, adherence to Health and Safety Legislation including the correct use of PPE and driving policy on correctly qualified personnel.
• Manage and oversee the daily running of the vehicle utilisation, maintenance and defect reporting system ensuring all forecasted maintenance and inspections are completed on time, maximising vehicle availability and preventing unlawful utilisation.
• Responsible for monitoring Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regarding Tachograph laws on a monthly basis, ensuring remediation training for drivers with recorded infringements.
• Selected as the principle Road Safety Adviser and Road Traffic Collision and Incident supervisor, providing analytical reports and recommendations to the company Accident Procedure Manager reducing future financial impact.
• Ensure safe vehicle movement on company grounds.
