Responsibilities
7.5 tonne delivery driver doing deliveries to pubs restaurants hotels etc throughout Scotland delivering refrigerator foods meat soups frozen foods Drinks cakes and all different kinds of food and drink all within time Windows. As a 7.5 tonne driver I am responsible for the vehicle checks in the morning and return to yard also refilling truck with fuel and all paper work from invoices to vehicle check list. Also almost every customer is cash so keeping cash save and counting cash to make sure you’ve collected moneys due and doing paper work for cash also . Every customer is different so I’ve also dealt with customer complaints which have to be reported back to the transport office I.e items short on orders or customer not happy with the items delivered.
Accomplishments
In this job some days I can be out my self for the full 9.5 hour shift so you learn to work and do paper work on your own and deliver within time window giving.
