Recovery Technician

I currently work here as a breakdown and recovery technician, I mainly specialize in police work which consists of stolen vehicles, car accidents of which the majority of these may have no keys or even not fully rolling. I take great pride in what I do and believe that I’m confident and experienced in my current line of work. Whilst doing this I have to ensure I always have presentable attitude and have an open mind to customers attitude as they are Also in a situation of which they do not want to be in.

working here was only for a short period of time, a stop gap if you like, my job description here involved mainly doing relays of broken down or casualty vehicles from there location to home address regardless of where that may be, it also involved giving exceptional customer service and having a sympathetic attitude towards customers as they were never in a happy mood due to circumstance. Doing this I always had to be presentable and approachable regardless of any personal circumstance.

Whilst working for knowhow I was employed as a driver installer, this job involved delivering and installing any appliance that can be purchased from the company into peoples homes and even place of work, it involved a lot of patience, excellent customer service and to always be hygienic and presentable.

From leaving school to taking my hgv tests I struggled for work due to lack of qualifications or experience so I did several jobs working under a couple of different agencies. Jobs starting from warehouse work, loading and unloading of goods, factory work, I have previously took flt tests and done work in such industries, office work, scrap yards and the list goes on. In this period I used the time to invest in myself and find an industry of which I enjoy to work in which has been a successful plan.
