I have a lot of multi drop experience, working as part of a team and on my own. I am a hard worker and would love to work in a similar role again as I love driving and really enjoyed my previous roles in the courier industry

WORK EXPERIENCE

Class 2 Multi Drop Driver
M and h logistics – Cambuslang
February 2018 to Present
Delivering palletised drops and collections throughout Glasgow and Edinburgh. Have been working in this position for 3 months with m and h logistics and really enjoy the driving and have gained more experience with palletised drops as previously my class 2 role was all hand balling.

HGV Class 2 Driver
Scotch frost – Uddingston
August 2017 to Present
I have been working with scotchfrost coming up for 6 months now and is my first position as hgv driver. I deliver goods to various Chinese takeaway and restaurants all over Scotland. It is a physical job and involves quite a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes long hours. I have gained good experience of driving the class 2 hgv and would relish the chance to progress to somewhere better to move forward and gain more experience as an hgv driver.

Multi Drop Driver
Howdens Joinery
August 2016 to September 2016
Multi drop driver for howdens joinery, same as previously worked. Went back due to transline being self employed and didn’t work out so went back to howdens while working towards obtaining my hgv class 2.

Multi Drop Driver
Transline Group – Eurocentral
March 2016 to July 2016
I worked for transline group delivering for Amazon. This was a high volume of drops per day and could be really challenging at times but rewarding at the same time . I worked any 5-6 days out of 7 and this included working weekends, I was responsible for loading my van and delivering parcels to houses and various businesses throughout Scotland. I would still be there as I really enjoyed the job but it was self employed and wasn’t working out with the money side of things as I was getting dropped routes every week so found it hard to pay for fuel and van hire at times.
I am a hard worker and would love to work in multi drop again and this vacant seems ideal

Self Employed Courier
Expert Logistics – Larkhall

Responsibilities
Delivered various appliances to customers. Was mostly kitchen appliances but sometimes tvs, general household goods. I was part of a two man crew , I was the porter in the crew as it was a 7.5t we were in and I don’t have that licence.

I was a multi drop courier delivering same day parcels for argos based in Hamilton retail park. Responsible for loading van and delivering parcels throughout Glasgow area and as far as ml12 leadhills/ Wanlockhead
Accomplishments:
I gained good experience delivering a higher volume of parcels as the drops were smaller parcels than previous roles I had done . They ranged from jewellery to large tvs and flat packed furniture.

I worked hard to ensure my work was completed sometimes on a tight schedule. I really enjoyed being on the open road as I love driving.
