I was working with XDP through sure recruitment doing class 1 multi-drop. My role with this company is to drive a double decker trailer to various locations throughout Scotland and to ensure my deliveries are made on time. I have experience working with curtain trailers and ensuring the load is safe and secure. I have also done some work with Matthew Clarke delivering beer kegs and alcoholic drinks throughout Scotland which has giving me experience working with heavy loads and ensuring that they are secure when loaded onto the trailer.

My main job role is delivering frozen food and ice cream across Scotland and North East England. While working with Eden Farm I have gained a good geography knowledge of Scotland as well as parts of England. I work with a refrigerated trailer which has to be kept in good condition to ensure the food is kept frozen. I have a good working knowledge of the working time directive and I make sure my paperwork is complete and filed correctly and the end of the day.

My responsibilities within this role are loading and unloading the truck whilst ensuring all good are safely delivered in the same shape as they were loaded. I also have to keep to a strict time schedule to ensure that the plane are not delayed as this looks bad on the company and myself. I have a good working knowledge of the central belt has I have to make deliveries to other airports as well as other business on route. Another role within my profession is to maintain the cleanses of the truck to unsure other drivers will not have to clean up after.

Whilst working at Grosvenor Casino. Within the casino I work within customer driven sector this is due to the cashdesk being the last place where a customer would go before leaving so we always leave the customer with a good impression of the casino so we can benefit from repeat business.
There is a lot of procedures and legislation to follow within the cashdesk so communication is a vital component to the job as I will need to train and assess the best possible way for this to be followed.

Whilst working at KFC I worked on the tills and on the floor where I maintained a high level of customer service and also keeping the lobby clean and clear of any obstacles. As a trustworthy member of staff I was given responsibility of cashing the tills at end of shift which sometimes meant carrying out investigations into any discrepancies. This allowed me to work closely with managers and learn the procedures involved in any investigation.
