High Pressure JetVac Engineer

Class 2 HGV to drive the tanker is ideal but the company will put you through this course if not.

£24,000 per annum

+ £30,000 – £35,000 expected earnings with overtime

Monday to Friday

4am start 12-hour shift with allocated daytime shift as well.

1 in 4 On Call Weekend paid at time and a half

One of our successful northern based Environmental Management Companies are looking for an experienced supervisor with experience being a High-Pressured Jet Engineer to manage pre-planned Maintenance with key UK client accounts across Yorkshire for an immediate start.

You will operate a tanker & jetting equipment to respond to emergency blockages and maintenance of various customer sites providing a first-class service.
Covering the Yorkshire area
You’ll need to be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment with experience within the drainage industry.
The Tanker is currently based at Thirsk so this will need to be accessible on a morning for you to start at 4am.
Responsible for one other drainage engineer that you will be happy to manage, coach & provide ongoing support.
A high-pressure water jetting certificate would be good, but it is not essential if you have the experience.
You’ll need a full UK driving licence, Class 2 HGV licence.
You will need to possess excellent customer service skills as you will be the face of the Company whilst dealing with clients and other members of the public.
Due to the nature of the work, 24/7 callout, a flexible approach to work will be required.
You’ll be operating tanker jetting equipment for a wide range of drain-related issues.
You will be field based and deal with any situation from pre-planned maintenance and emergency callouts and blockages during regular maintenance.
Tanker and jetting work: suction of pump stations, petrol interceptors, jetting of manhole and
channel drainage, safe and compliant disposal of waste.
Willingness to work across the UK.
Salary is negotiable but you must have a minimum of 3 years in the Drainage Industry in order to be successful for this role
