At Wincanton I gained experience in the selection of certain products while picking and operating the shrink wrap machine. I loaded and unloaded vehicles both palletised and manual handball. I used RDT Scanners and a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) to pick defined quantities of certain lines to a pallet. Additionally the Remote Data Terminal scanners were used to receive items into the distribution centre, locate stock and to check how many items should be in a particular location/ pallet. A Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) was used to make the job safer and easier.
