HGV Class 2 ADR Driver

Employment Partners are looking to recruit HGV 2 ADR drivers for our client in Winchester.

The job includes doing deliveries and collections of Agricultural goods to farms in a HGV 2 vehicle.

ADR all cartons except class 1 and 7 are required.

Applicants must have a current HGV 2 licence, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card and Digital Tachograph card.

Guaranteed minimum 8 hours pay per day with overtime thereafter as detailed below;

£ 11.30 – 14 an hour for the first 8 hours per day then overtime.

Tasks and duties will include:

· Carrying out routine vehicle checks

· Driving a vehicle to the destination and unloading according to requirements

· Issuing delivery notes and returning a signed copy to transport office

· Some manual handling required

· Must be flexible and drive lower categories of vehicle if required

· Meeting delivery times slots

· Keeping transport office updated of your progress and any additional problems

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must: have relevant driving experience, have a HGV 2 licence, hold the relevant CPC qualifications, hold an ADR qualification, be reliable, punctual and self-motivated, be flexible have a great attitude and strong work ethic, be capable and confident in your ability.

Average shift pattern – 08:00 – 17:00

Monday to Friday

The role is due to start late February/early March.
