CCH is a division of Transdev PLC, one of the world’s largest transport providers. CCH provides over 60% of crew transportation to major airlines at Heathrow.
Joined as a trainee working in various areas but with specific responsibility for:
Procurement, of staff uniforms including specification, stock control and issue of clothing items to 80 staff members.
Maintaining high standards of presentation for the Company’s fleet of over 40 minibuses and coaches.
Responsibility for maintaining high standards of Health and Safety within the Company’s offices, grounds and facilities.

• Acting Bar Manager for a successful bar in Windsor, with full autonomy for venue management. Tasked with controlling stock levels and directly managing staff and shift patterns, with a primary
responsibility for increasing the sales and profitability for the establishment
• Additional responsibilities involved social media management and feedback analysis, with the aim of developing venue appeal and generating a greater footfall given the highly competitive nature
of the industry in the Windsor area.

and my duties included the following:
• Supervising maintenance and safety inspections for entire fleet
• Negotiating service contracts with sub contractors
• Acquisition of new vehicles from minibuses to coaches, this included working closely with Mercedes Benz,
Volvo and MAN-Tam dealerships. The latter involved several visits to Slovenia to finalise evaluation of pre production of a new coach product for the UK.
• Checking driver’s hours/tacograph records
• Negotiating spare parts contracts and in-house stock control
• Managing two fitters
• Overseeing the construction and specification of three bay workshop
• Supervising valeting staff on site
• Disposal of vehicles
• Liaising with Operations staff to achieve planned maintenance for the fleet whilst maintaining minimum levels of transport for the contracted airline customers
• Responsible for all first aid and fire marshalling and to ensure that all risk management and safety procedures are understood by the workforce. Also deal with any fire/safety compliance and
legislation queries that arose
