Started back at J J Stanley as HGV driver/Heavy plant operator.
Collecting and delivering materials through out north east.
Experience driving various types of vehicles:- Hook loaders,skip loaders,RCV.
360 operator.
Factory and site clearance experience.
Transporting heavy plant machinery.
Demolition and ground works.
Operating heavy plant and machinery.
Weigh bridge operator.
Cover for staff on holiday or absent through out the company doing their job role while not present.
My current role at J J Stanley is yard manager.
I took this role on June 2016 and adapted to the job quickly. The job involves controlling the operation of the full site. Overseeing all yard staff and making sure the production line is ran correctly maximizing full recycling production. Controlling all input and output products. Producing all recyclable sources to minimize waste output and maximize profitable waste streams. Loading of export containers and paper work. Following the Environment Management system to ensure all areas of the yard is compliant with EMS. Making sure all staff and visitors comply with health and safety rules and regulations.
Make sure all plant is maintained correctly and daily checks are being processed to ensure plant is ran
efficiently. Begun my level 4 transfer and treatment wamitab training.

Heavy Plant Operator

Main role at this company was to operate a 360 grab handler.
Process scrap metals using a mobile shear/bailer.
Loading wagons with materials and generally keeping the yard tidy and up to environment agency standard.
Also required to cover the hook loader wagon when needed.
Delivering materials throughout northeast.
Covered the non ferrous department when needed.

Started working at this company from leaving school. My role when started was general yard labourer.
Throughout my time I stepped up learning new roles throughout the company.
Gained lots of experience using different machinery and heavy plant equipment.
360 excavators (track/wheel) up to 50tonne, with various attachments.

Final role at the time of employment was yard foreman. In charge of 20+ men giving them day to day jobs,
following Health & Safety and environment procedures. Making sure the heavy plant and machinery was being run correctly, dealing with customers, taking stock checks.

Transporting heavy plant machinery. Experience using mobile screens crushers and bailers. Very good
knowledge of the scrap metal and waste recycling industry. Confident taking on new roles. Currently site
manager of a waste recycling centre.
