ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As part of my personal development plan, I will be starting a course mid 2018, which is the Level 5 Professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport. Alongside this, I will be attending events hosted by the CILT to improve and increase my knowledge and learning hours. I aspire to achieve accreditation as a European Senior Logistician, so that I can make a positive and worthwhile contribution to the industry, as well as any chosen career path. Also, I aim to gain further accreditation as Certified Humanitarian Logistician, as humanitarian aid is a subject that I find engaging and interesting- as well as socially and morally necessary. I have also assisted in delivering the subject on two occasions to Air Cadets at RAF Wittering as part of a STEM residential work placement course.
During this time period, I have completed my Driver CPC, as is required by my current profession.
I qualified with the OCR level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence in National Passenger Transport in July 2011, for access to the profession as a Transport Manager.
I do have hobbies outside of work- my spouse and I enjoy the cinema, especially weekend mornings when the family shows are on! We’re also members of the National Trust, so we’re never short of fresh air, somewhere to go or something to do!
