Weighbridge Operator

RE Resource Group have an exciting position for an experienced weighbridge operative. This is an exclusive permanent position working for a leading brand, at their depot in Telford.

You will be responsible for the operation of a busy Weighbridge on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all vehicles entering or leaving the depot are within transport weight regulations and accounted for. That is role would consider someone without experience, depending on their attitude, but they need to have experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft packages.

Your duties with will be the following but not limited to:

Managing all vehicles entering and exiting the depot, weighing their load, quality checking and recording data accurately.
Recording and calculating inputs and outputs, producing weighbridge tickets, and directing HGV vehicles to the correct bay.
Recording all weighbridge activity correctly, accurately and with high organisation
Carrying out the necessary admin work to complete the process.
Liaising with drivers, as they deliver to the site and resolving any issues/problems that occur.
Liaise with other depot team members keeping a steady flow of traffic moving.
Liaise with other Weighbridge personnel to ensure that the Weighbridge is maintained during the site’s opening hours.
Answering phone enquiries
Dealing with other administrative tasks.
You will have the following:

· Knowledge of HGV weight restrictions or motivated to learn

· Experience in the same or similar role

· Experience in Microsoft packages

· Highly motivated

· Effective communicator

· Professional with all contractors entering and leaving site

· Team play

Pay: £8.72 per hour + time and a half after 40 hours

Shift: 4 on 4 off shift rota 0600am to 1800pm
